Mouse Mimistrobell creates jewelery. Delicate, beautifully rendered pieces that have the charm and quality of real life antique and vintage pieces.

Dark Mouse at Whimsical Creations is where you’ll find Mouse Mimistrobell’s jewelery. She’s self taught but admits to a lifelong interest in design. “After joining SL I taught myself to build at the Ivory Tower of Prims and was really encouraged by Lumiere Noire to build more, and took some classes and imposed on friends to learn PhotoShop” explained Mouse.

Mouse admits she really enjoys making jewelery, and in particular “seeing what shapes can come out of tiny prims.” Mouse explained that “I am a vintage jewelery freak, and like my jewelery to have a toned-down kind of feel that I can wear casually. I love the process. It’s addictive to me to think of something I think might work well in SL then to be able to translate it by creating the texture and the prims, from scratch as it were!”

Dark Mouse jewelery has a delicate beauty and attention paid to the fine details of each piece, like the gold screw backs on the Garnet Vintage earrings show here or the soft lustre of the pearl color on the Pearl Drop Earrings. The Vintage Earrings, as well as the garnet setting also come in diamond, emerald and a beautiful black diamond setting.

You can find Mouse Mimistrobell jewelery at her shop Dark Mouse at Whimsical Creations along with her other creations including prim belts, sunglasses (just the one pair but she’s working on more), animations, AO ’starter’ packs and furniture sets with an emphasis on low prim pieces.

Mouse also designs pre fab houses and she explained that “I make low-prim, high quality homes that are easy to rez and use, with no complicated parts or scripts to figure out. Pretty much rez and go. I design these houses out of my own personal desire to make sure that people with a 512 or 1024 plot don’t end up in a boring white box”.

Mouse truly enjoys the creative process and it shows in her designs, especially her vintage jewelery pieces. “True Silver” “Feeling Blue” “Star Feather” “Silver Star* “Jade Curves” “Golden Tree” are all separate necklace, earrings and bracelet sets created by Mouse. The names for her pieces reflect their old world charm and delicate beauty.

For anyone who buys her creations, Mouse wants her customers to know that “I mostly want them to know and believe that I put my heart into it. That they are wearing something that I designed simply because I wanted to create. It’s important to me that people are pleased with the product and how it looks on them.”
