After spending all last week working on attempting to clean my computer of a nasty virus, I ended up having to reformat, which took precious time away from otherwise sunny days!  I’m happy to be back up and running and taking pictures once again!  This post is inspired by the newest Icing addition by Miko!  Very vintage feeling, but so cute I couldn’t resist posting this blog about it!

Hern Worsley, the creator behind AVZ makes hair. Extraordinary Hair! Hern calls it cyberpunk hair and says that “I do prim Kung Fu”. Shown here are two of the hair styles from AVZ.

AVZ Parallel Hair is a prim feast of rolled hair that appears to be coiled around slender steel bars, with long dread locks and ribbon pieces at the hairline. It’s amazingly detailed and available in a variety of colors. Parallel Hair teams beautifully with “Chrome”, one of the newest releases from Très Jolie!

With “Chrome” designer Iota Ultsch, continues her love affair and experiments with metal textures as soft flowing prim gowns. “Chrome” comes with a revealing jacket layer shown here, or your choice of a more demure and less revealing jacket layer. There’s a full length skirt with a swishing train that has the wonderful prim movement that all Iota’s gowns share.

To complement the gown, Iota has also created a chrome horsehair belt which comes attached to the prim skirt. A silver choker and hoop earrings are included.

The second AVZ hair style, called Imp Hair is also available in a variety of colors, and it’s long trailing tendrils of moving hair give it a dramatic look. Imp displays minute attention to detail, with the headscarf ending in floating prim ribbon ties and a square silver jewel attached to the front of the headscarf.

A hairstyle as dramatic as this works well with a severely simple gown. Loren from LeeZu Baxter is a deep black and indigo patterned sheath with a wickedly low cut back. This dress is elegant and classic with its high cut front and long sleeves. It also includes self patterned gloves to give an extended line to the dress sleeves and the texturing appears to give the low cut back a slightly draped look. This attention to small details makes Loren a classic versatile gown.

AVZ combined with LeeZu Baxter and Très Jolie! is clash of high fashion meeting cyberpunk and the result is spectacular.

It is always good news when a great designer brings out new items. And even more so if it’s one of your own favourite designers or stores. So needless to say I was really excited when I heard Fleur was collaborating with Nicky Ree for a whole new spring line. They even celebrated their collaboration with an amazing ball last Saturday, in a ballroom built by Fleur’s CJ Carnot.
