In August of 2007 I was fortunate enough to meet a talented new creator that was taking the grid by storm, Minnu Palen. Never did I imagine that one day I would become her manager, let alone a best friend. I contacted Minnu one day after reading a review written by my sister Carissa, I was a very loyal fan to my lovey skins and a little hesitant at first, but I felt it was time to try something new.

I remember her being picky about pictures, eyes and lashes worn in my review…I can honestly tell you that I was pretty darn close to telling her to forget it lol, I have never taken a bad picture for my blog, but I figured she didn’t really know who I was. I accepted her conditions and did her skins justice.

Slowly the grid was being taken over by her talent in more than one way, and we grew closer and closer. Her business started to grow and with that so did her land size, I can remember fighting with her to finally buy a sim and stop paying tier for land she’d never own. Finally, one day she decided to just go for it and buy the sim. Like most new content creators, Minnu was scared of taking such a big step, but I assured her that her skins would only get better with time and so would the need for quality skins.

It’s been 6 months since I met Minnu and then Thora, and it’s been fun seeing them grow into what they are today. I’ve yet to meet people like these two, they can do it all. Make skins, build amazing sets, build entire sims, film machinemas, master indesign, take amazing pictures and now…create unique and amazing clothes.

Like all relationships, we’ve had our ups and downs and we’ve disagreed and bumped heads on more than one occasion, but I feel, it’s what’s made our relationship into what it is today. I’ve met many people during my time here on SL, but only a few have managed touch and leave a mark in my life, in a good way of course hehe. Minnu and Thora are two of those people, and I’m happy to be a part of not only their business but also their lives.

In just a few days Thora and Minnu of MMS will be releasing their new clothing line, Cachet and I assure you these pieces are different and very unique in style. If you like runway, RL fashion and couture…you will love Cachet. Not only are they amazing to mix and match, but the quality for two individuals who’ve just started making clothes is superb.

Of course I love to make a statement wherever I go and I can tell you right now, you will see me wearing these outfits quite often. So keep your eyes open because Cachet will be opening its doors to you fashionistas very soon.
